This 2" wide hard enamel pin is the second in our Ruffner Mountain series. One of the most recognized owls at Ruffner, the Eastern Screech Owl is a small mottled owl with prominent ear tufts, easily recognizable by its tremulous, descending wail with soft purrs and trills. The call is not a screech but rather a soft, mournful whinny that can be heard most often in the fall and spring months of the year.
This hard enamel pin features black nickel plating and a double-post pin closure with rubber clutches.
A portion of the proceeds from each pin will go towards supporting Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve.
